Happy Chinese New Year

My son came home from school with this handmade Chinese New Year card. It's fascinating to learn what these kids learn in school, especially when it comes to arts and crafts.

It's such a simple yet wonderful gesture of wishing others through handmade cards - with just a piece of folded blank cardstock, the tree branches drawn using a black marker pen, and mushed up dark pink crepe papers pasted onto the branches like cherry blossoms.

Here's wishing you and your loved ones happiness, prosperity and longevity on this Chinese New Year. We'll be back very soon!

Happy New Year 2012!

Time really flies when you're having so much of fun! We bid adieu to 2011, and welcome 2012. Do stay tuned as we are in the midst of expanding our territory to across the border.

Wishing each and everyone of you a wonderful new year 2012, may all good things go your way!

School Year End Party

With just a blink of an eye, it's time for the little boy and his friends to party and say "Hello" to the holidays!

The little boy had truly grown tremendously within just a mere 5 months. We are truly thankful to his new found friends, the lovable and dedicated teacher and assistants. So this is what we packed for them.

For the children :
* Stickers pack (assorted - vehicles, hearts, cakes, animals)
* Mini Sunmaid raisin box
* Mini Kit Kat bar
* Honey Stars pack
* Mini Chipsmore pack

For the teacher and her assistants :
* Handmade "Thank You" card with personalized photo (many credits to The TomKat Studio for the free printable!)
* 2 boxes Sunmaid raisin
* Kit Kat bar
* Toblerone bar
* Mini Chipsmore pack

Each party pack is tied with ribbons and labelled with respective names.

We hope that they will be delighted with their packs. Happy school holidays!!

Sunshine Birds Towel Cake

This is a recent request from a colleague. He wanted to personalize a cake for the coming arrival of his second child Aidann, as well as to give a gift to his wife Mazlin in conjunction of their wedding anniversary.

After much discussion, we came up with this.

Ingredients :-
* Sunshine 3-pc towel set (personalized)
* Juniors blanket (personalized)
* "Angry Bird" soft toy (red)
* Kinder Joy chocolate egg
* Poem
* Accessories & packaging

We're awfully pleased to hear that his wife loved the gift!

Spotty Scotty

It's a certain colleague's birthday today, and she loves dogs. So we decided, why not make a puppy soft toy for her. *wink*

Pattern credits to Jennifer B Harris.

The original scotty was made in felt, but this one looks just as good in fabric. We then packed it into our baby announcement pack (it is indeed a multi-purpose box!) as a personal gift, together with a handmade card and presented it to the birthday girl.

We're so glad that she love it. :)

For Mummy Dearest

Mother's Day is just around the corner. Since we are "gift specialist", what other better way than to wipe up our own goodie hamper for Mummy!

What we threw in :

• Brands Essence of Chicken - Original (6 x 70g)
• Brands Innershine Prune Plus (6 x 42g)
• Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies 150g
• Ferrero Rocher (5 pcs in a box)
• Kit Kat International Recipe fun bag (12 x 17g)
• Arnott's Tim Tams Vanilla 135g
• Munchy's Muzic Chocolate Maestro 110g
• Tiger Biskuat (Original) 76g

Happy Mother's Day! We love you, Mummy!

All Stitched Up

Thanks to Bel, we got a couple of fancy cloth postcards from Taiwan. All you need to do is to cut out the shapes accordingly and stitch them up as per instructions.

It turned out so perfectly nice and cute!!

Christmas Treat Bags

Christmas is around the corner. We've been burning the midnight oil the past week to make treat bags for families, friends and colleagues. That's almost a whopping 70 bags done - all filled in with candies!

Thanks to the handy scallop scissors, we managed to make nice scalloped tags and each tag is the recipient's name, nicely attached to the bags with a thin ribbon.

We had so much of fun doing this, and so pleased to see the smile on the recipients' faces. :)

June Updates

It has been a month since we've launched the website.

We've had sales. We've had orders for diaper cakes. We've came up with superbly cute cards to go along with the gifts. We've been buying stocks and materials. And now, we are also venturing into full moon packs.

Oh how busy both of us have been. We are stepping out of our engineered minds and we are learning new things day by day. This is something we are thankful and blessed to have this great opportunity. Elaine has also been the one that pushes us ahead. Otherwise, Babypoppits would have not seen the world, honestly! Hehe!

Thanks to you and your great feedback, it's what that keeps us going and going. And yes, more goodies will come your way! Stay tuned! :)

April Updates

Am excitedly welcoming Elaine into the Babypoppits team!!

On a couple of updates, as of late last March, we have gotten our very own domain. Many thanks to my friend, Leng Swee for the recommendation on web hosting company - they're indeed prompt and helpful!

Many has been done, things to be finalized, logo to be decided and oh, it is indeed very exciting to be able to do this from the beginning, lots to learn as we go. Babypoppits would not have gone far without Elaine - you're amazing, girl!!

Very, very soon, our website will be launched and we hope that many good things will come our way. Stay tuned!
